Ballistic Bloggers and White Hat Freaks
If you are following the Google Adsense craze and are creating or plan to create an "adsense site" or "content site" then there is someone you should know.
Your enemy, but you don't have just one, you have many.
Your enemies are not who you would expect, it's not the elusive Google spam patrol that Google has supposedly paid to find sites like "thin" affiliate sites , scraper sites, ect... And it's not the next big Google update that threatens to delist your site. Don't get me wrong, they can both put a hurt on you and your sites, but they are miniature poodles compared to the drooling bulldogs that want to tear you, your site, and your income to shreds.
It's the fanatics! And guess what, they are willing to hunt you down and kill your income for free.
I call these fanatics the ballistic bloggers and the white hat freaks!
Let's start with the "Ballistic Bloggers". A Ballistic Blogger is a blog owner that has been jaded by comment spam. First let me say comment spam sucks and I do not endorse or support it in any way. I fully understand why bloggers hate the comment spammers, which just leave crappy comments with a link back to their site included in the post. The comment spammers do this to improve their link popularity with no consideration for the blog users.
But here is the problem; a relatively new term has been tossed around lately called splogging. Sploggers create junk blogs filled with keywords, scraped content, and links back to their site (which is usually an "Adsense site"), they do this to get their site indexed faster by the search engines, another term for this is "blog and ping". It seems that the Ballistic Bloggers have somehow attached their hatred of comment spammers to sploggers and Adsense site owners. Once the Ballistic Blogger finds a splog it is very easy to click on one of the links and find the adsense site attached. Once they find the Adsense site Google makes it very easy for them to report it by simply clicking on the "Ads by Google" text on the Adsense ads themselves, and trust me they will do it. What they fail to realize is whether you agree or disagree with splogs, they have nothing to do with comment spam.
The next and possibly your biggest enemy is what I call the "White Hat Freak". These guys live, sleep, and breath tradition SEO. Now let me clarify, not all White Hat SEO experts are Freaks. The Freaks are white hat fanatics and they are almost militant in how they go about search and destroy missions for sites that do not meet and follow their strict SEO standards. I have actually been in SEO forums where some of these freaks boast about reporting sites to Google, and guess what they HATE Adsense sites.
Now that you know your enemy, you need to know how to avoid becoming their victim. Many webmasters that create “adsense sites†use automated page generators, or web scrapers to make what is called a scraper site. In most cases if you use this method, it is like wearing a big sign that say's "Hey, I used software to create this site and I know that if the wrong person sees it I am toast." Most of the Freaks not only know that you used a software program to build your site, but they can most likely tell you which one you used because of the fingerprints these programs leave behind. Fingerprints is a term given to clues left behind on a site that gives away information you probably do not want given away.
A new software program has been created to outwit even the White Hat Freaks and Ballistic Bloggers. It creates pages that are free of fingerprints and tell tale signs that alert the enemy of your page building tactics. Plus with this new software you control the template, the page type, the content, the linking structure, basic SEO features, and much more so NO two pages look alike. You can find this software at http://www.trafficlooter.com.
Whatever solution you use to create your sites, keep your enemies in mind.
